I Heart Faces December Photo Challenge

I am so excited to share these pictures with you!  This is the first photo challenge that I've participated in, and I loved it!  I knew before I started that it would be hard work, but I'm so glad that I did it.  I had so much fun brainstorming for each daily theme.  Thank you to I Heart Faces for putting this together, I had sooooo much fun doing this!  Thank you to everyone who followed my challenge on facebook!  Lets look at what I've been doing for the past month, doesn't that sound exciting?  haha :P

Here is a list of all of the challenges with the date they were supposed to be completed on.  I Heart Faces did a great job. :)

Day 1: Me
I tried to capture me and everything I love in just one photo.  Of course, I love tons of things so that was slightly impossible.  But, I did my best and I'm pretty happy about the result.  Lesson Learned: Self-portraits are extremely difficult!  It took me over an hour and a half to get a decent one, between me jumping from my camera (which was set up on a tripod) to my bed and trying to pose, it was not a simple task.  But anyways, here's me, lover of bright colors, doing what I love doing best!

Day 2: Elf
My little elf.  This may or may not be a very loved bear and faithful friend of mine for the past 10 years. :P

Day 3: What You're Reading
This one was simple because I rarely read anything other than the bible! haha.  Jesus is the reason for the season of Christmas.  I pray that we NEVER forget that. ♥

Day 4: Shadow Play
Even though this wasn't the silhouette that I planned to have, I still really like it! :)

Day 5: Someone I Love
I can't possibly capture everyone that I love in just one photo, but Rebecca is very special to my heart.  She brings me so much laughter and joy. :)

Day 6: Burst of Red

Day 7: The View From Here
The view in Downtown Prescott

Day 8: Shopping
Doing one of my very favorite things with my very favorite people.  ♥ my sisters!

Day 9: Decorated
Surprise!  We woke up to find that our entire house had been TP'ed.

Day 10: Stripes
I love wrapping presents, and stripes. :)

Day 11: On the Shelf
On of my favorite things of the season, Christmas music! ♥

Day 12: Sweet
Christmas sweets.... yumm!!!

Day 13: 'Tis the Season
'Tis the season of finals!

Day 14: B&W
Santa's Little Helper ♥

Day 15: Something Yum

Day 16: Hands at Work
Addressing Christmas Cards!

Day 17: Comforting
♥ Rebecca and her favorite comforts: blankie and a stuffed animal. ♥

Day 18: It's Cold Outside
My favorite song this time of year!  Baby it's Cold Outside!

Day 19: Light
I had the perfect models for this day. :)

Day 20: Furry Faces
Riley is in desperate need of a hair cut here, can't you tell!  He's so tolerant. ;)

Day 21: Wrapped
Our present pile was triple this size by Christmas morning!

Day 22: Warmth
Hot drinks on cold winter days ♥

Day 23: Bokeh
Oh how I adore Christmas lights.

Day 24: 'Twas the Night
What I did on Christmas Eve, go on a wagon-ride at Winter-Haven with my family!

Day 25: Unwrapped
Becca Jill was so excited for Christmas morning, watching her open presents was definitely the highlight of my Christmas. Here is the process of her unwrapping her bible, which she was super excited about. ♥

Day 26: Toy
For some reason, this was probably the hardest one for me.  I have no idea why, because we have a million toys.  I literally took 200 pictures before I got one that I was happy with.  Major perfectionist.... :/

Day 27: Favorite Thing
I have such an amazing dad, he gets us each a huge box of Cheez-its every single year!  Definitely one of my favorite things about Christmas. :)

Day 28: Gratitude
Thank you to everyone who has supported my photography!  Every little comment really means something to me.  I wouldn't be where I am today without all the encouragement that I have received along the way, so thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Day 29: Texture
Sneak peak from my Christmas photoshoot with Catherine and Rebecca.  One of my favorite photoshoots ever, can't wait to share the rest! :)

Day 30: Resolution
A New Year means a clean slate. This year I want to make the right choices, learn from my mistakes, and make lots of memories along the way!!!

Day 31: Celebrate
Celebrating the New Year with amazing friends!  Games, coffee, and friends..... what a way to start off the new year!

Day 32: Reflection
2012 was a great year, through the ups and downs.  I can't wait to see what 2013 has in store!  It can only get better from here. =D
